Pratham Youth Community (PYC), Ahmedabad. Last updated 14 August 2026.

This covers pycnavratri.com and booking passes for PYC Navratri 2026 on WhatsApp. If anything here is unclear, ask us and we will explain it in plain words.

The website

There is nothing to sign up for and no form to fill. You cannot make an account here, and we do not ask you for your name, number or email anywhere on this site.

We do use Google Analytics to see how many people visit and which parts of the page they actually read. It sets cookies and collects the usual measurement data: an approximate location from your IP address, your device and browser, the pages you open and how long you stay. We use it to decide what to put on the page next year. We never try to work out who you are from it, and we do not use it to advertise to you.

If you would rather not be counted, your browser’s privacy settings will block it, as will Google’s own opt-out add-on. Nothing on the site stops working if you do.

The aftermovies are YouTube videos. Their thumbnails come from YouTube’s image server, so it sees a request when the page loads. The video itself starts only when you press play, and it plays through youtube-nocookie.com.

The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps ordinary server logs, including IP addresses, so it can serve pages and block abuse.

Booking on WhatsApp

Passes are booked in a WhatsApp conversation, so the details you type are handled by WhatsApp (Meta) the way any WhatsApp chat is. On our side we keep the number you message from, the name you give us, what you booked, and whether it is paid.

That is what issues your pass and gets you through the gate, and it is how we find your booking when you message us about it weeks later. We do not sell it or pass it to sponsors. Passes for children are booked by an adult, and a child’s details only ever reach us through that adult.

Payments

Payments run through Razorpay. Your card, UPI or netbanking credentials are entered with them and never reach us. What comes back to us is whether the payment succeeded and a reference for it.

Photos and video on the ground

We photograph and film across all nine nights, and that footage shows up in reels, the aftermovie and next year’s material. On a ground this size you should assume you may appear in a crowd shot. If a specific photo of you is up and you want it taken down, message us and we will remove it.

Who else touches your information

Four companies, each doing one job: Meta for WhatsApp, Razorpay for payments, Google for analytics, Vercel for hosting. Each of them gets only what that job needs. Beyond those, we share your information when the law requires it of us.

How long we keep it

Booking and payment records stay for as long as we need them to run the season, answer questions afterwards, and meet our accounting and tax obligations. Analytics data expires on Google’s own schedule. When we no longer need something, we delete it.

Your say

Write to team@pyccommunity.com and you can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Say it from the number you booked with, or tell us that number, so we can find the right record. We will come back to you, and if you are unhappy with how we handled it, say so in the same thread and it goes to the organisers.

If this page changes

We will update it here and change the date at the top. The version on this page is the one that applies.
